What are the official dates of the LUSEEC 2015 Conference?
The official conference dates are Thursday, May 14th, 2015 through Saturday, May 16th, 2015. The first official event is the Opening Speech followed by the Keynote Presentation, which begins at 09.45 a.m.
What is the main location of the international conference LUSEEC 2015?
The main conference venue is Lumina – The University of South – East Europe, located in Sos Colentina, 64B, sector 2 (Colentina Highway, 64B, district 2).
When does on-site registration opens?
On-site registration opens Thusday, May 14th at 08:30 a.m., in the Registration Lobby of Lumina – The University of South – East Europe.
When do the conference meetings formally end?
The conference officially concludes on Friday, May 15th, although the Bucharest tour or the Peles Castle and Bran Castle tours are scheduled for Saturday, May 16th.
What should I do if the session I would like to attend does not have any vacancies?
LUSEEC suggests that you arrive at the assigned meeting room at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the session in order to obtain a seat. Be sure to note the alternate sessions you would like to attend during a particular time-slot, in the event your first choice is full. All session rooms are intended to help foster a creative learning environment and are set to the maximum number of seats allowed.
I obtain a copy of a presenter’s presentation?
Presentations will be made available online after the conference.
Will my photo be taken during the conference?
LUSEEC takes photographs and videos during its meetings and events, that will be used in the premises of Lumina University, advertising, newsletters, and other promotional materials, whether in print, electronic, or other media, including the Luseec and conference website. By participating in this conference you grant Luseec the right to use your name and photograph for such purposes.
I am bringing my family with me to Bucharest. Will there be activities for them to enjoy during the conference?
LUSEEC does not have specific activities designed for guests or family members, but you can contact your hotel concierge to help you plan activities and day trips during your stay, or visit http://romaniatourism.com/bucharest.html for more information.

Will I receive my registration materials via mail?
Registration materials are not mailed prior to the conference; they will be available for pick-up beginning at 08.00 a.m. on Thusday, May 14, in the Registration Lobby of the Lumina – The University of South – East Europe.
If I am unable to attend the conference, how do I cancel my registration?
All cancellations must be made in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org. Cancellations received by LUSEEC on or before February the 1st are entitled to a 50% refund of registration and event fees. No refunds will be granted for cancellations after February the 2nd.
I cannot attend the conference. Can I send a colleague in my place?
Substitutions are allowed with the written authorization of the registrant who is unable to attend. Send an email to email@example.com or bring a signed letter to the onsite registration counter, along with a new completed registration form.
I registered online, but I did not receive an email confirmation. How can I get a copy of my registration confirmation?

Do you provide invitation or visa letters to attend the conference?
Yes. We do provide invitation or visa letters to anyone with a paid registration. Please send your request to email@example.com with the following information:

Please be aware that if a registration is cancelled, we will be obligated to contact the embassy to revoke the invitation letter. Any specific questions regarding visas should be directed to your local government, embassy or immigration office. Regulations vary from country to country, and change frequently.
What do I need to submit at the proposal stage?
The online submission form requests information on the author, a brief abstract of the presentation (for subsequent inclusion in the conference program), and a succinct summary of the work which includes the information specified in the Paper Publication (http://luseec.lumina.org/2015/?page=publication).
Can I change my proposal from in-person presentation to a proposal for article submission or vice versa?
Yes. You can change your proposal type at any time prior to the conference. Please send your request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can I change my proposal after it has been submitted?
Once your proposal has been submitted, you can change it, but please contact our Organizing Committee at email@example.com.
Is there a limit on the number of papers I can present at the conference?
As a matter of fairness and as a function of the scheduling process, each presented paper must have a separately registered author, with a max of 2 papers admitted.
How long will it take me to find out whether my proposal has been accepted?
Abstract proposals are generally reviewed and replied to until the 2nd of May 2015. If you want to make sure that you have a response regarding your acceptance in time, in order to take advantage of the registration deadlines, be sure to submit your proposal at least 2 weeks prior to the registration deadline (14th of April 2015).
When will the conference program be available?
The first draft of the conference program is now available online at http://luseec.lumina.org/2015/?page=program. If you have an accepted proposal and have a paid the registration prior to the regular registration deadline, your presentation date and type of session will be available at that time. We welcome late proposals and registrations, however these may not appear in the printed program book. They will appear in subsequent electronic versions of the program book, posted to the conference website.
What does the registration fee cover?
Conference registration includes the following: attendance at the plenary presentations and conference sessions, all lunches, coffee breaks, and reception printed program and other conference materials. This applies to discounted rates as well (early registration, student registration, other special discounts).
How do I get a copy of my registration invoice?
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to request a copy of your registration invoice.
If I am unable to attend, will you refund my fees? What is the cancellation policy?
If you are unable to attend the conference or to transfer your registration to another person, you may request a refund of your conference registration fee. You need to send us a request via email (email@example.com). The amount you are refunded will depend upon the date we receive your request.
Will I get an attendance certificate?
Printed attendance letters are provided onsite on May the 15th, or emailed to attendees in electronic form.
How can I pay the participation fee?
You can pay by CC, transfer or cash.
Are there any sponsorships or exhibit spaces available?
Luseec offers a number of opportunities for organizations or groups who might want to offer sponsorship to our conferences. We ask that interested organizations, which are linked with the themes of the conference and are willing to connect with the conference community, to do so.
